This Easy Pimento Cheese Recipe is a creamy, tangy Southern favorite that’s perfect as a spread, dip, or sandwich filling. With sharp cheddar, mayo, and pimentos, it’s a versatile and flavorful treat that takes just 5 minutes to prepare.

Ingredients

2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese

1 cup mayonnaise

1 jar (4 oz) pimentos, drained and chopped

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp onion powder

½ tsp cayenne pepper (optional, for a little heat)

Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the shredded cheddar cheese, mayonnaise, chopped pimentos, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper (if using), salt, and pepper.
  2. Stir everything together until fully combined and creamy.
  3. For the best flavor, refrigerate the pimento cheese for at least 30 minutes before serving.
  4. Serve on toast, crackers, as a dip, or as a filling for sandwiches.

Notes

Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
