This passion fruit banana juice is a creamy tropical drink with sweet ripe bananas and tangy passion fruit blended into a refreshing, naturally fruity beverage. The smooth texture and fresh passion fruit topping make it perfect for warm days or a quick energizing treat.

Ingredients

2 ripe bananas

23 fresh passion fruits

1 additional passion fruit for topping

1 cup milk (dairy or plant-based such as almond, oat, or coconut)

1/2 cup cold water, adjust as needed

12 teaspoons honey or sugar, optional

Ice cubes, optional

Instructions

  1. Cut 2–3 passion fruits in half and scoop the pulp into a bowl. Lightly strain the pulp for a smoother drink if desired.
  2. Peel the bananas and slice them into small chunks.
  3. Add the banana pieces, passion fruit pulp, milk, and cold water to a blender.
  4. Blend on high speed for 30–60 seconds until creamy and smooth.
  5. Taste the juice and add honey or sugar if extra sweetness is desired. Blend briefly again.
  6. Add ice cubes and blend once more for a colder, thicker drink if preferred.
  7. Cut the remaining passion fruit in half and scoop out the pulp.
  8. Pour the juice into glasses and spoon the fresh passion fruit pulp on top before serving.

Notes

Use frozen banana slices instead of ice cubes for a thicker texture without dilution.

Coconut milk gives the drink a richer tropical flavor.

Add mango, pineapple, or strawberries for extra fruit variation.

Adjust the amount of water to make the drink thinner or thicker.

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 day and shake well before serving.
