Ingredients

6 cups Rice Krispies cereal

4 cups mini marshmallows

1 cup mini marshmallows (reserved)

3 tablespoons unsalted butter

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup red, white, and blue candy-coated chocolates

1/2 cup mini red, white, and blue marshmallows

1/2 cup white chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
  2. In a large pot over low heat, melt the butter completely. Add 4 cups of mini marshmallows and stir until fully melted and smooth.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract and salt.
  4. Add Rice Krispies cereal and gently fold until evenly coated.
  5. Let cool for 1–2 minutes, then fold in the remaining 1 cup mini marshmallows, candy-coated chocolates, and colored mini marshmallows.
  6. Transfer mixture to the prepared pan and gently press into an even layer without packing too firmly.
  7. Let cool at room temperature for about 30 minutes until set.

  9. Drizzle melted white chocolate over the treats and let it set before slicing into squares.
