Ingredients

8 Rice Krispie treats

12 oz. blue candy melts

12 oz. pink candy melts

4 graham cracker sheets, crushed into fine crumbs

White pearl sprinkles

8 cake pop or candy sticks

Instructions

  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or wax paper.
  2. Melt the pink candy melts in the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring after each interval until smooth.
  3. Spoon the melted pink candy into a shell candy mold and spread evenly with a toothpick. Let set for about 20 minutes, then remove the candy shells from the mold.
  4. Crush the graham cracker sheets into fine crumbs using a storage bag and rolling pin.
  5. Melt the blue candy melts in the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring until completely smooth.
  6. Insert a cake pop or candy stick into one end of each Rice Krispie treat.
  7. Dip each treat into the melted blue candy until fully coated.
  8. While the coating is still wet, sprinkle graham cracker crumbs along the bottom portion to create a sandy beach effect.
  9. Add one pink candy shell and finish with a few white pearl sprinkles.
  10. Place the decorated treats on the prepared baking sheet and allow them to set for about 1 hour before serving.

Notes

Homemade Rice Krispie treats may be used if fully cooled.

Swap blue candy melts for tinted white candy melts for a lighter ocean color.

Add gummy fish, candy sharks, or edible starfish for extra decoration.

Crushed vanilla cookies can replace graham crackers for the sandy effect.

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.

Do not refrigerate or freeze, as the texture and coating may change.
