This Viral Cookie Dough Bark combines chewy cookie dough, rich chocolate, and flaky sea salt into an easy no-bake frozen dessert. Naturally gluten-free and vegan-friendly, it’s a simple treat that satisfies sweet and salty cravings alike.

Ingredients

1 3/4 cups almond flour

1/4 cup maple syrup

1/4 cup coconut oil, melted

2 teaspoons vanilla extract

2 cups chocolate chips, divided

1 pinch flaky sea salt

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the almond flour, maple syrup, melted coconut oil, and vanilla extract until fully mixed.
  2. Add 3/4 cup of the chocolate chips and stir until evenly distributed. Continue mixing if the mixture appears crumbly until it comes together.
  3. Line a baking sheet or tray with parchment paper and press the cookie dough mixture into an even layer.
  4. Place the remaining chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl and melt in 30-second intervals, stirring between each interval until smooth.
  5. Pour the melted chocolate over the cookie dough layer and spread evenly.
  6. Sprinkle the flaky sea salt over the top.
  7. Freeze for at least 1 hour or until completely firm.
  8. Break into pieces and serve immediately or store in the freezer.

Notes

Use refined coconut oil to avoid a strong coconut flavor.

Dark chocolate chunks can be substituted for some of the chocolate chips.

Add shredded coconut, crushed gluten-free pretzels, or freeze-dried fruit for extra texture.

Store in an airtight container in the freezer for up to 3 months.

Allow the bark to sit at room temperature for 1 to 2 minutes before serving.

Honey can replace maple syrup if a vegan option is not required.
